Description
Ernie Reed: Legendary Fiddler whose Decades Long Career is as Storied as the Greats he Accompanied. Autographed Fiddle By Reed in Case. Ernie Reed, legendary sideman (and occasional songwriter) for most of the great singers and bands to come out of Nashville. He was one of Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys for years and has played with Johnny Cash, Faron Young, Mel Tillis and countless others. He also played the role of "Edsel the Fiddler" and was the bandleader for the entire Broadway run of "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" in the early 1980s. A number of videos of his performances are available on YouTube. Offered is a signed fiddle by this clearly beloved musician. Unlikely this is one of his performance fiddles, but a fantastic tribute display piece for any fan. He has signed his name boldly in black Sharpie. Fiddle comes in case, no bow, but a box of violin strings by Woodnote included.
