Description
Box is cardboard and wood with beautiful color label on top. Marked "La Grande Semaine d'Aviation Reims", bottom reads "Nouveau Jeu de Societe". Shows nice depiction of very early bi-wing airplane. Box lifts up. Very elaborate game inside. Includes two hand-painted on metal bi-wing planes with wire guiding wheels and lithograph pilots, also one early French boattail type racer with driver that appears to be lead. Airplanes go back and forth on guide wires. Includes also some wooden pins and a few paper French flags that look like replacements. Depiction on board of hot air balloons and airplanes, colored on wood. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Box: 26" x 8 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2".
