This is a fantastic set of silver cups with porcelain inserts from the Ottoman Empire (pre-1923). These Turkish zarf cups are well marked on the bottoms with the Ottoman Empire impressed stamp. The porcelain cups appear to be original. The spoons are unmarked. The cups come in the original presentation box wrapped in red velvet and satin lined. Spoons approx. 5.5" long, cups in holder 2.5" tall. Box is 9" x 7.5" x 3". Weight of this item is 52g per cup with insert and silver holder is 30g, spoons weigh 138g and all acid tests as .800 silver.

The cups and inserts are in excellent condition as are the spoons and show typical light wear from use.  The velvet is worn on the case, but overall, everything great for age.
