These published beginning with No. 1 Vol. 1 of May 1880 to No. 30 Vol. 5 for October 1882. All contemporary bindings in very good condition. Covers are 5-1/2” x 8-1/4”. Fully indexed. First bound volume has over 900 pages. Second bound volume has over 830 pages. Important: Includes THE CYCLIST and WHEEL WORLD ANNUAL for 1882. Edited by C. W. Nairn & Henry Sturmey. Almost 300 pages (count included with the 830 pgs. Third bound volume No. 25 Vol. V to No. 30 has 280 pages. In total over 2,000 pages. Indexes, product engravings with reports, cartoons, club news and goings on, races and racers, what is happening in other countries (USA, India etc.), Shows, Patent information, Games and Puzzles, manufacturer’s advertisements, stories and poetry, lots of Tricycling including Queen Victoria (pg 169 Vol. II), Club information and drawings of badges, Bicycle Touring Club, Cycling and the Law, all kinds of Accessories and componentry illustrated and described, and so very much more (even has an old Hobby Horse print illustrated). These important volumes are also found in the Smithsonian Institution collection. Very good condition.
