Description:
[8] pp. incl. color pictorial self-wrappers. Illustrated from photographs. 20.1x21.3 cm (8x8?") folding vertically as intended.
Scarce brochure for the family recreational camp just "four short hours from Los Angeles... high up in the heart of San Gabriel Canyon," near Azusa, with horse-riding, fishing, hiking, and myriad other activities. And to protect vacationers from the scourge of tuberculosis, "No Consumptives Admitted." Somewhat ironically, Camp founders Ralph and Jack Follows, who arrived in Azusa in 1891, came from England in the hope that the therapeutic powers of the San Gabriel Canyon would cure Ralph's tuberculosis. Only two copies listed in OCLC, at Yale and the University of California Berkeley.
