A scarce, newspaper-style promotional for lands in Santa Clara County, issued by Bell's Land, Loan, and Insurance Agency. The work is styled as "Vol. V, No. 1," but was the only one issued.

The front page and part of the second are dedicated to descriptions of the "wonders and attractions" of California, with the majority of the interior concentrating more specifically on the benefits and amenities of San Jose. The final page contains a partial list of lands available in the area from this agency. Also with numerous illustrated advertisements and two maps of rail transportation in the Bay Area. OCLC locates six copies, mostly at local institutions, as well as at the Huntington and Yale.
