Carte de figure map of the Roman Empire, encompassing the southern half of Europe (with Germania to the north), the British Isles, North Africa, the Middle East, etc. There are five figures engraved at each side, depicting national types, and 6 city views (Rome, Genoa, Jerusalem, Venice, Constantinople and Alexandria) at the top.
Condition
Neatly and nearly invisibly repaired along centerfold, as few other tiny spots of restoration; ?x1?" piece missing from top margin not touching the neat line; very good or better, an attractive map.
