A LOUIS XVI REVIVAL PARCEL-GILT AND ORNATELY CARVED MANTLE MIRROR, FRENCH, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, the tall rectangular frame with an arch molded and beaded crest centering a band of continuous guilloche details, surmounted by a love trophy of a crossed torch en flambeau and quiver of arrows amidst blossoming clusters, above paired love birds suspending flowering festoons and flanked by flaming urn finials over mythical maidens holding floral strands while seated on curved Greek key bracket corners, with egg-and-dart molding above sides of leaf tip and beaded rows ending on elegant scrolling acanthus leaf carved corners enclosing a conforming mirror.
