annotated 'Second State', printed by Frederick Reynolds, from the edition of 100.
triangular loss along the upper sheet edge, light and backboard staining, foxing, two faint stains in the upper left sky, water stain in the right margin extending slightly into the image.
Framed in wood and glass.

on pale blue laid paper, annotated 'Third State', from the edition of 135 (there were also 4 trial proofs), printed by Henry E. Carling.
deckle along right sheet edge, two rust spots one in the one of the church window and the other in the church wall, and a 1mm thinned spot in the left margin, surface soiling, light-staining heavier along bottom sheet edge, a soft creases in the margins.
