Description
20th century, tall vase glazed all over in teal green glaze, underside with impressed blue character mark, 13-1/2 in.; possibly from the Bien Hoa School, Vietnam, archaic hu form vessel with molded mask ring handles, glazed all over in a drippy teal green glaze, layered black speckled pulls, underside with burnt orange square mark, 10-3/8 x 8 in.
Provenance: Collection of U.S. Military Officer Stationed in Asia during the 1940s and 1950s; by descent in family
Condition
tall vase with some chips to foot, hu example with glaze and firing flaws, firing cracks to foot ring, other light scratches and wear
