Grouping of 5 white ironstone serving pieces, 19th century, including: A covered tureen with impressed mark of "Davenport Ironstone" decorated with fruit and leaves, 11 3/4"W x 7"H, very good condition - no damage; a covered butter dish with insert decorated with fruit and leaves on vine, marked "T.R. Boote Warranted" - 6 7/8" diameter - chip along edge of base, else very good condition; a covered tureen in Fluted Hops pattern, signed "Ironstone China / Pankhurst & Co.", 12"W x 8 1/2"H, very good condition - no damage; platter in Ivy Wreath pattern signed "Stone China / John Meir & Son / Tunstall" - very good condition - no damage - 14 1/4" x 10 7/8"; and a small shell shaped serving dish signed "Stone China / J.W. Pankhurst / Hanley" - some light staining else good condition - 8 3/4" x 5 1/2". Provenance: All ironstone from the estate of Jeanne Atkinson who resided in NYC, and was a long time member of the White Ironstone China Association.
