Abbott & Costello Signed Photo, PSA/DNA Slabbed & Certified

A vintage black and white photograph signed by comedians Bud Abbott (1897-1974) as "Bud Abbott" and Lou Costello (1906-1959) as "Lou Costello" at center. Stamped "700" verso. Slabbed within a PSA/DNA slab. A minor stain found in the top photo margin, else near fine. Certified authentic. The photograph measures 3.5" x 5" while the slab measures 4.25" x 7.25."

The photo shows a young woman sandwiched between the duo on a beach boardwalk, ca. 1940s. (See the attached photo showing a similar photograph of Abbott & Costello identified as being taken at Atlantic City, New Jersey, ca. 1940s. This image, included just for reference, clearly shows the distinctive light bulb-topped posts of the chain link fence present in both photos.)

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were both seasoned vaudeville comedians when they first partnered in the late 1930s; the pair quickly dominated radio and film and became a household name.
