Description
PHILADELPHIA PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, ovoid form with beaded rim and neck, incised shoulder, applied strap handle, beaded foot, and brown-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt decorations featuring two flowers rising from base with a dropped feather between and four feathers spaced around the neck, with additional cobalt to handle terminals. Probably the Richard C. Remmey pottery. 1870-1885. 9 1/8" H, 4 5/8" D rim.
Excellent, undamaged condition.
