Description
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with double incised neck and shoulder rings, applied strap handle, beaded foot, and brown-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt decorations featuring two flowers rising from the base with feather/leaf designs repeated four times around neck, and additional cobalt below spout and to handle terminals. Probably the Richard C. Remmey pottery. 1870-1885. 10 3/4" H, 5 1/2" D rim.
