Item Details

Description

Very nice World War 2 ships compass and copper hood. Made by the Lionel Corporation, it is marked U.S. Navy Azimuth Circle, Mark 3 Mod 2 BU ships. The compass still appears to be in good condition. The liquid inside is clear, making the compass easy to read. Obviously, this would have mounted inside a housing. The compass and Azimuth measure 13 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall, weighs 30 pounds. Also included is what appears to be the copper hood that would have went over this instrument. The hood does have some dents and scratches. Measures approximately 15 inches deep, 14 inches wide and 14 inches tall, weighs approximately 10 pounds.
