Description

This is an impressive and large piece of antique nautical equipment made by Henry Brown & Son Ltd. This ships binnacle was salvaged off a ship many decades ago. Standing approximately 53 inches tall and 36 inches wide, this wood, brass, and copper instrument is still in very good original condition. The compass, located inside the upper section, still functions as it did originally on a gimbal system. This compass does not have any liquid inside. The copper hood is intact along with the compensating balls and round wood base. The base has two doors, which open into a storage area. Due to the size and weight, this will be shipped on a pallet via FedEx Freight service. Please email your postal code for a shipping quote. Item may also be picked up in Wichita, Kansas at Nations Attic facility.

All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail. Worldwide shipping available. A shipping quote prior to the auction can be provided by emailing your postal code.
