A wooden paddle club of a simple yet elegant form, with a wide paddle end that is bisected by a raised rib and resolves in a pointed terminal. Enveloped in a warm shade of caramel, the wood is polished to a matte sheen. The weapon presents with an ovoid base and a tubular handle that flares outwards to an intricate head decorated with a lovely incised border of undulating striations enveloping a geometric motif. Solomon Island war clubs vary in form and style depending on their region of origin. In addition to being war clubs, they are collectible for their undeniable beauty.
