Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Apple Green Glazed Porcelain Double Gourd Bottle Vase on Carved Hardwood Stand. The porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd bottle vase, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, round opening lip, raised on ring foot base and slightly concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in apple green fine color on exterior and clean white on the interior. In Chinese it is called Lu You. It is a lime glaze that contains copper oxide, which in the oxidative atmosphere, is green. Ever since the Ming Dynasty, there have been high temperature green and low temperature green glazes. The peacock green "glaze produced in the Chenghua Period of the Ming is most precious.

The Shoulder-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
