Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Floral Bouquet Motif Porcelain Double Gourd Bottle Vase. The porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd bottle vase, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, round opening lip, raised on ring foot base and slightly concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Blue and white base color, depicted of flowers bouquet over the cumulus clouds, scrolling ruyi. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.

The base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
