After retirement he focused his efforts on revitalizing the local area and philanthropy. His entrepreneurial drive continually motivated him to privately invest in real estate ventures and many other businesses. In addition to his impressive business acumen, he was a man of artistic pursuits, collecting antiques, porcelains, oriental rugs, and artwork of many different genres.

Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of Imperial dragon are borne in floating clouds, flame, above Lishui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. The clouds and dragon patterns are vivid and have distinctive characteristics of the times.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
