Description
English, 19th C. Two figurines depicting Milton with a manuscript from Paradise Lost (numbered 297) together with Shakespeare next to a manuscript of Prospero's speech from The Tempest(numbered 305). White ground with polychrome painted detail and gilded decorative accents, inscribed makers marks to the underside of each.

Condition
Overall in good condition. Some very minor occasional wear to gilding, and in two small spots on the corners of books. Slight cracking in the glaze only visible upon close inspection, consistent with age. Condition report available upon request.
