An early 19th century rosewood, ebonised and brass inlaid and mounted bracket clock with repeat and matching bracket
the movement signed John Moore & Sons, Clerkenwell
the rectangular case with stepped and reeded shallow pagoda top and panelled front, the sides with foliate drop ring handles above fish scale sound grills, on ripple moulded shallow plinth base and ball feet, the 7.5' painted dial with Arabic numerals and pieced brass hands, the brass four pillar movement with anchor escapement and engraved backplate striking on a bell, with matching engraved pendulum, winder and two case keys, the bracket with conforming panelled decoration to the front, the clock, 44cm high, the bracket, 19cm high (2)
