MAGNIFICENT, Chinese Ming Dynasty Jiajing reign Wucai porcelain Jar. Sturdy potted porcelain jar with robust shoulder region curving into a feminine waist that extends all the way to the bottom forming the raised circular base. The main body delicately decorated with various scene of flying crane amongst Early Treasure symbols and atmospheric cloud form. banded with upturning lappets on the collar beneath colourful ruyi clouds on the neck. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
