Description: A beautiful wooden neck support from the Galla tribe in Ethiopia. Is a beautiful neck-support made with great attention to detail on the carving thereof. With signs of wear and tear. This headrest or neck support is a personal object, which was frequently carried by men with them and was used as a pillow to keep the hairstyle neat and tidy. This headrest is long lasting and well used; see the nice original patina and the discoloration as a result of the frequent skin contact.
