John Bill, Christopher Barker [&c.], 1678 bound with The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, John Bill, Thomas Newcomb [&c.], 1679 and The Whole Book of Psalms, J.M. for the Company of Stationers, 1679, engraved portrait frontispiece and 130 plates, 3 plates between 2O5&6 trimmed and with a couple of short tears, the third with small area of loss (repaired), trimmed at head, affecting a number of running titles or chapter headings, a few ff. trimmed at outer edge, handsome contemporary black panelled morocco, gilt, silver metal clasps and corner-pieces with engarved rose motifs, upper cover with silver metal armorial centre-piece, lower cover with silver metal centre-piece with engraved monogram, spine in compartments and richly gilt, spine ends chipped, joints rubbed, g.e., 8vo
