DESCRIPTION: Taos, Hondo Canyon Staurolites Fairy Crosses, Tears of Christ. Local legend is as follows: ''When the blue birds cried upon the death of Jesus, their tears turned to stone crosses.'' This collection of crosses was found in 1960. Measures approx. 3/4'' x 3/4''.
