Hall of Fame Postcard signed, "Joe Dimaggio" in the yellow margin above his HOF plaque. JSA hologram on verso. Graded by PSA a NM-MT 8 and encapsulated to an overall size of 4.25" x 7.25." Slight creasing to corners, paper loss and some yellowing due to tape remnants, else fine and boldly signed.
Joe DiMaggio, born Giuseppe Paolo DiMaggio on November 25, 1914, in Martinez, California, was an iconic American baseball player known for his extraordinary career as a center fielder with the New York Yankees. DiMaggio's major league career spanned from 1936 to 1951, during which he was a three-time MVP winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons. His most famous achievement is his record 56-game hitting streak in 1941, a mark that still stands and is considered one of the most unbreakable records in sports history. Known as "Joltin' Joe" and "The Yankee Clipper," DiMaggio led the Yankees to nine World Series championships. Off the field, he was famously married to Marilyn Monroe, adding to his status as a national celebrity.
