Jewish Americans Purchase Land Near Lake Tiberias in 1925 British-Controlled Palestine

Printed deed, one page, folio, June 16, 1925, by which David Savetnick of Los Angeles, California, purchases a 3600 sq. ft. lot of land in Migdal, Palestine, near Lake Tiberias, from Migdal Garden Villa, Inc., a New York corporation. Upon payment of the purchase price of $640.00, the title will be issued in accordance with the laws of Palestine. Palestine was under British Mandate from 1923 until 1948; the entire period was characterized by clashes between the aspirations of the Jewish settlers and the Arab inhabitants. Fine with some colored marker notations. Migdal is believed to be the home of Mary Magdalene.
