A reproduction openwork bronze censer executed in 12th century style, formed as a standing lion with raised tail, ribbed paws and grotesque face with erect ears and elliptical eyes; the head hinged to the rear of the neck. Bronze, 875 grams, 20 cm (8") UK art and antiquities market, acquired prior to 1990.
