The item up for sale is a spectacular and bold Oil Painting on Canvas by Marc Klionsky, that was originally purchased from Eduardo Nakhamkin Fine Arts Inc. Klionsky is forever famous for the brilliant color, bold creativity, expressive passion and many other characteristics that his artworks exhibit. Additionally, of all the masterpieces he created, his most desired images are intricate illustrations of beautiful landscapes and alluring portraits. Like the major work here, "A Broken Picture Original", an alluring personification crafted with the brilliant expression of Klionsky's genius as he blends the realms of realism and surrealism. Also, the immaculately detailed artwork, with its vivid color and exquisite detail, is of impressive craftsmanship and size, measuring approximately 29" x 23" and 37" x 31" with the custom frame constructed specifically for this piece. Furthermore, it is one of his nicest and largest paintings we have ever made available, hand signed in the lower right corner, comes with a Gallery COA and has remained in excellent condition since it was painted by Klionsky in 1976.

Marc Klionsky (1927 - ): A Russian born artist who spent almost 50 years in the Soviet Union. He attended the Art School for Gifted Children and the Kazan Art School, before graduating from the Academy of Fine Art, where his final piece was reproduced in 50,000 copies. In 1974 he fled his native country originally to Rome and finally New York. Klionsky's works have been exhibited across the world: from Russia to Rome, Florence and Berlin to China, The United States and New Zealand. His early works reflect unrest due to Nazi and Anti-Semitism, to his later works which expressed freedom from his escape. A documentary about his art was broadcast in 92 countries, which included his portraits of many esteemed clients: Golda Meir, Elie Wisel, B.B. King and Armand Hammer. Today his works are in the permanent collcections of many of the finest institutions, including the National Portrait Gallery, the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lausanne, where they are enjoyed by critics and collectors alike.
