Description
Assembled set of 10 porcelain dinner plates in the Chinese Export taste, late 19th / early 20th century, the gilt heightened borders centered with a heraldic armorial achievement, the crest with a star above a coronet of nobility over a gilt-barred helmet, the shield charged with a bend sinister having three stars, the field with further stars, possibly for a member of the Innes, Ker or Fraser family, some bases with KPM and Elite Limoges marks. 9.5” diameter. Chips, wear. Provenance: William Doyle auction lot 457, date unknown.
