Barris, who passed away in 2016, was Marilyn's final photographer famously known for "The Last Photos". Barris took the last professional image of Monroe on July 13th, 1962, just weeks before her passing. This photograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA DNA which states that the photo is a "1970s restrike that was made off the original negative featuring an image originally taken in the 1960s". The photo is signed in black ink on the lower right and has Barris' stamp on the back that indicates "photo on loan for one use only and must be returned".
