Description

Title: Pair of Folky Coots

Provenance/Additional Info: From the first half of the 20th century, two folk art carved coot decoys with heads/necks made from roots. They have worn black paint and measure approximately 6” and 8” long. Each has a metal weight on the bottom and a hook for rigging, so these were probably used in the field as confidence decoys.
