ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEA AND COFFEE ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, each having dark blue transfer patterns, comprising three teapots including one featuring three figures with bird cage, one depicting a woman with rake and haystacks in background, and one having Basket, Brick and Vase pattern, one coffee pot with scene repeated twice to each side featuring a family including a man with an ax, two covered sugars including one with possible American view featuring a spread wing eagle with banner and one depicting a woman helping a fallen boy, and a cup and saucer set featuring possible Italian scene with two figures in foreground. Marks include impressed eagle with "ADAMS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" and some having printed letter or number to underside. Davenport, Longport; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent; Andrew Stevenson, Cobridge, England; and others. First half 19th century. 10 5/8" HOA.
