Description
Includes a .900 silver lidded pumpkin or gourd with etched panels - stamped, "T900" to underside; a Gorham sterling peacock - stamped, "Made for Shreve Crump & Low Gorham Sterling 3" with a maker's mark of William B. Durgin; and a wonderfuul figural silverplate lidded butter dish with glass insert - boar form finial, seated monkeys at each corner, and mythological seahorse form handles with ladies heads and rings, apparently unmarked. Total approx. weight of sterling is 6.12 troy oz (gross); total approx. weight of .900 silver is 11.70 troy oz (gross). From a Huntington, NY estate. Dimensions: peacock measures approx. 5.25" w x 9.5" d x 4.125" h.
Condition
Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Bends to peacock's toes.
