Unpaginated. Text in French. With 3 leaves of inlaid comparison samples plus hundreds of full-page color wallpaper samples. 30.5x40 cm (12x15¾"), bolted blue cloth lettered in white.

Massive French wallpaper catalog displaying almost every color and style of the time including floral, geometric, abstract, mosaic, and solid colors, many clearly in the styles of Art Deco or Bauhaus. With distributor price lists affixed to front pastedown and laid in loose, plus distributor number and sometimes prices stamped to versos. A well-preserved sample book that offers an impression of wallpaper aesthetics in France in the early 1930s.

Condition

Boards lightly worn and soiled, frayed at extremities, corners bumped, front joint of spine loose; price lists toned, marginal tearing and some loss to first few leaves, a few samples have been clipped; very good.
