(Disneyland, 1998) A special burgundy and gold sign from the side of one of the horse-drawn trolleys on Main Street at Disneyland. Constructed of wood, the enormous sign is coated in weatherproof enamel and features stenciled lettering listing the stops on the route, "Depot Main Street Plaza," with Art Deco design accents. In an effort to bolster the momentousness of the New Tomorrowland launch, the coloration of the trolley signage was switched from the traditional green, yellow, and red to burgundy and gold in an effort to match the adjacent land's new retro-futurist theming. Measuring 112"x5.5" and 0.75" deep, the sign is in fair condition from its outdoor use. It exhibits scuffing to the face, some cracking and peeling to the surface throughout, adhesive residue, long strips of enamel loss to the reverse, and some weathering to the underlying wood.
