George Armstrong Custer: Signed Envelope. 5.375" x 3", Burnet House, Cincinnati; October 21, no year. Signature as addressed to his wife, "Mrs Genl Custer." General wrote to his wife in Monroe, Michigan while staying at the Fifth Avenue Hotel. Envelope is torn from opening. Lightly rubbed and toned from age with some green discoloration on back of envelope. Overall, a great sample.
