This nugget displays an incredibly fine texture, like crushed gold leaf interspersed with large areas of the uncannily parallel lines of the crystal habit, further enlivened by large sections of the quartzite host rock on one side, emerging on the other as attractively contrasting patches of snowy white amidst the bright yellow of the gold, measuring 53 x 31 x 15 mm and weighing approximately 2.07 troy ounces (64.4g).
