Description
Standard Colt 1849 Model pocket revolver. Percussion. 6" octagon barrel . .31 caliber. One line New York address on top of barrel. Iron frame and cylinder. Brass backstrap and trigger guard. This pistol bears the serial numbers 207623 & 207641. Lot includes a letter from the Colt Mfg. giving us a date of 1862. This revolver was shipped to Schuyler, Hartley & Graham in New York in a shipment of 25 guns. And shipped to B. Kittredge in Cincinnati, OH who supplied many weapons to the military during the Civil War.
Condition
Near relic condition. Great deal of rust overall. Appears action may be frozen.
