English, 18th century. An engraved lidded teapot, having decorative finial atop of the lid, elaborate foliate engraving throughout with central panel and carved bird, base hallmark of RN with corresponding marks attribute pot to 1760's likely by the hand of Hannah Northcote or Henry Nutting; ht. 6.5, wd. 11, dp. 7 inches. Weight 744 grams. Provenance: Property from the estate collection of John D. Schofield, Newnan, Georgia
