Description

An antique handmade double-masted wooden ship model titled 'CANADIENNE' (The Canadian), signed E. LECLERC (for Eugène Leclerc) on the opposing side in stippled text, raised upon its original handmade stand. Dimensions, 22" long x 21.5" high x 3.75" wide. Eugène Leclerc (1885 - 1968) was a well known French Canadian model ship builder whose works, along with those of some of his family members, are very much sought after by collectors.
