McClellan saddle of black leather having a yellow trimmed breast strap with a brass heart plate, leather hoode stirrups, and a name tag on the back of the cantle "Lt. Jno. M. Major". Good. Lot 169 has an officers belt with his name on a tag stating he served in the Spanish American War 1898 and also served in the 25th Reg and the 46 Reg during the Civil War and was at Gettysburg.
