An Athenian silver tetradrachm. A nice example of the famous Athenian silver tetradrachm, c. 454 - 404 BC, featuring the head of Athena, the reverse depicting Athena's owl; olive-sprig above. 26 x 22 mm. 16.68g. Ref: Kroll 8; SNG Copenhagen 31-40; Dewing 1591-1598. Ex Epshtein collection, Berkeley, CA.
