A silver New Style tetradrachm struck 138 - 137 BC at Athens, Greece. The obverse features the helmeted Athena and the opposing side an owl on amphora over head of Helios; all within an olive wreath. D: 32 mm,16.82g. A large and impressive coin in choice condition! Ex Southern California private collection.
