Leitz prototype of a 18x24mm half-frame camera with large built in bright line viewfinder and metal focal plane shutter, film winding system similar to Meopta Mikroma with a sliding rail on the back under the top plate, still all parts by Leitz, 32mm lens thread mount, chrome painted top and base plate, this is the only known Leitz VITALUX half frame prototype - it never went into production (as the famous Leica BOX and the Leica-H) - ex Paul-Henry van Hasbroeck collection
