Description

1960 New York Yankees American League Championship Ring. Salesman's sample ring is identical to those issued to Mickey Mantle and the boys after the heartbreak of Mazeroski's walk-off dagger. We'll concentrate on the positives though, like the colorful bat and hat logo on the face, lassoed by the words "American League Champions." Left shank features "1960" over a baseball in miniature, a design repeated on the right. The ten karat gold trinket weighs thirty-seven grams and measures just a hair short of a size eleven. Fine condition.
