Description
1959 Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship Ring Presented to Jerry Doggett. For over three decades he played second fiddle to the iconic Vin Scully on Dodgers radio, and here we present his enormously desirable 1959 Championship ring, the first ever earned by a west coast ballclub. Identical in design to those awarded to Duke Snider and Sandy Koufax except for the faux diamond at center, this white gold relic (stamped "Balfour 14K" inside band) boasts "Los Angeles World Champions" text in a perimeter around the blue stone on face. Left shank provides bats and ball imagery, with "Jerry Doggett" in script on the sweet spot. Right shank announces "1959" above a Los Angeles skyline view and a baseball with Dodgers logo script. Band has been resized to 6.5. Weight is thirty-one grams. A thrilling relic from a man whose voice still rings in the memories of millions of Dodgers fans.
