Description
1990's Muhammad Ali Signed Olympic Boxing Glove Set. Produced by All American Collectibles of Fair Lawn, N.J., this massive display features two limited edition boxing gloves: one is hand painted by Steve Kaufman, who reportedly got his nickname SAK from Andy Warhol; the second has a box with Ali's challengers name on the front, and both gloves feature the Olympic logo. The Kaufman painted glove also features Muhammad Ali's portrait silk screened on the front, and is signed by Ali directly below it. The two gloves are displayed in a huge acrylic display case that measures 24-by-18-inches and is 6 inches in depth. Included with the lot is a photograph of The Champ surrounded by the limited-edition gloves (this one is No. 229/250) and a Certificate of Authenticity from All American Collectibles. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
