ITALIAN MOTTAHEDEH SHELL FORM CERAMIC OPEN SALT CELLARS, LOT OF TEN, each white-glazed having applied barnacles and coral base/feet, comprising six single shell examples and four tri-shell form examples. Each having black-printed mark "WILLIAMSBURG / C4W / XX / RESTORATION / Mottahedeh" to underside and some retaining gold label "MADE / IN ITALY". Late 20th century. 2 7/8" HOA.
Provenance: From the Joseph and June Hennage collection, to benefit the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Condition

Undamaged, three tri-shell form examples having some minor residue from green florist clay to interior shell with some crazing.
